This work is part of the Indian-Indonesian cultural exchange during my residency in Bali. Inspired from the ancient shadow puppetry tradition (Wayang Kulit in Indonesia and Tholu Bommalaata in India) tying the cultural roots of both countries, this series aims to create either scroll paintings on the theme of folklore and secular historic links between these two ancient cultures.
